The original farmhouse was built in 1852 and despite at least two later additions, the interior style remains true to the history of the original home. Typical for this area, it is constructed primarily of limestone.
Although the barn was dismantled and moved to another farm, the old stone foundation now encompasses a variety of gardens - herbs, fruits and perennials - all complimented with an assortment of vintage and antique collections.
The orchard boasts apple trees that are estimated as close to 100 years old. Other fruit trees have been added - peach, pear, cherry and plum - as well as elderberry shrubs, raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. And of course, no century farm is complete without rhubarb!
Introduced in 2021, Greystone hives will soon be producing Greystone Gold - subscribe to keep up to date on when and where our honey hits the market!
There are two very distinct forests on the property - an old black walnut plantation on the west side and a mixed evergreen forest on the east - making for distinct experiences when exploring on the nature trails. Full of wildlife and endless native plants, each season brings much to see.
